Usually nothing can surprise me and make me panic but today"s information just blew my socks off. I was sitting in my office, a regular day at work. Nothing fancy was happening, quite a boring day actually when my telephone rang. It was half past eleven if I remember correctly when the conversation took place. I picked up the phone and I heard my wife screaming (it was more of a joy scream than horror.) I told her to calm down and to tell me what has happened. She shouted with her voice trembling that she was pregnant. It was then when I got basically petrified and this information knocked the phone off my hand. I picked the phone of the floor and asked my wife whether she was serious about it. She obviously replied that she was. After the conversation ended my legs were shaking and Mr. Level-headed was no longer... level-headed. At first I felt lost and did not what to do. But in the end, I was able to keep my composure and can you believe it? After work I went to a child equipment store and I bought a baby bedding on my own! When I came home my wife jumped at me and I could see her face smiling and she was so happy that she cried. When I took the baby bedding and showed it to her, she could not believe her eyes. She was even more happy and emotional that I have to admit that even I had shed some tears.
