Well, I bumped out of a. fib. after 36 hours all by myself without having to go into the ER to get cardioverted like I did pre-surgery with my SVTs. I'm continuing to take walks for exercise, both to gain strength and to build cardiac health. My coumadin levels are too low right now and that's dangerous. Please pray for me.

I'm continuing to improve although I'm having an ongoing battle with atrial fibrillation, a known side affect of this surgery. They tell me the chances are real good that the irrythmias will go away entirely by three months, but that's two months away still. I've been in a. fib. now for 23 hours and it's not fun. My coumadin levels are not controlled yet so there is a chance of stroke. Pray for me.

Hi, again. The surgery went well even though my valve had considerably deteriated even in the month in between my meeting with the surgeon and the actual surgery, providing him with some surprises. I was released from the hospital on Friday and attended church today, but will continue to recover over the next few weeks. You'll be hearing from me a little more now, I hope.

So sorry to hear this. I pray that all went well today and that you will recover completely and be restored to good health. I have missed your postings. In fact, today in the mail I received the book "Evangelical Christian Women" which I purchased because of what I read in your "War Stories". Prayerfully connected, Maureen
