Conference Blog Team

The blog team for the CBE International conference coming up in about two weeks has put itself together. The nine members plan to “blog the conference.” Many associations are doing this now, either officially or unofficially. This blog effort will not be an official effort of the association, but is the sole effort of the team members involved, and the opinions they express are theirs only and not the association’s.

We hope to relate not only the content of the conference sessions, but also our personal take on that content. The group is quite a varied bunch but when we finally meet at the conference, I’m sure we’ll have a lot in common.

Since Eastern University is not going to have its wireless network up until later this fall, we’re not sure yet just how timely our conference entries will be. It also will depend on what kind of access to computers the team members will have. We’ve asked for writers, not computer experts, so not everybody will have laptops to bring.
